April 30, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Free

What’s wrong with voting in MA? Are voting standards in MA good or are we behind the other states?

Share the afternoon with Senator Jamie Eldridge to discuss some of the bills that he and others have introduced in MA legislature with regard to voting rights and fixing our democracy.

There is legislation about overturning Citizens United, financial disclosure of taxes to get on presidential ballot, ranked choice voting, automatic voter registration, same day voting, municipal early voting, establishing an independent redistricting commission, remote voting for Town Meeting, allowing 17 yr old to vote in primaries if they will be 18 by general election, limiting spending by foreign-influenced corporations, and abolishing the Electoral College and more.

PARKING: Please carpool if you can! THREE Handicapped spots available by front door. Able-bodied persons should park along the road as you pull onto Half Moon Hill. If you are local, strongly encourage you to park on Elm St by the tennis courts near CT Douglas School.

Register for Headcount.
