Postcards at Mike’s in Ayer

Indivisible Nashoba has been hosting postcard parties every Saturday all summer, and through the generosity of one of our members who volunteers his barn, we are able to do this through the November 6 election.  In addition, we have branched out and there are now 2 postcard opportunities every week for you to participate in.

Our rationale:  taking back at least one House of Congress is the key to resisting the negative effects of the current administration.  Indeed it is the only way to curb the excesses of executive power.  Studies show that increasing voter turnout also increases the chances for more liberal candidates.  Indivisible Nashoba is working with Postcards to Voters and local campaigns to increase voter turnout in key electoral races. Every hand made card we send increases the likelihood of a voter showing up a the polls in November, and helps tip the balance.

We need people with neat printing, creative types to make the fronts of the cards look great, and keen eyed editors to catch our mistakes.  It turns out that the camaraderie is also pretty wonderful- join us and find out!  Donations welcome, especially postcard stamps. We provide all the materials.
